Marie Sanderson
I am an artist, illustrator/author, and musician living in Upstate, New York, where I get daily inspiration from the constantly changing landscape. I especially enjoy the luminous and challenging medium of watercolor and also find a nice change of pace in using charcoal, pen, ink, or pencil.
I am drawn to a good and gentle story and find great fun in translating the story line into images that visually enhance the telling. Somewhere, deep inside, I suppose I am still eight years old, so illustrating the story seems to come naturally to me.
